Ultrafine Ring Roller Mill

The ultrafine ring roller mill system consists of a main unit, a classifier, and a product collection unit. The classification system employs a forced turbine classifier structure, and the product collection system uses a pulse-jet baghouse dust collector.

System process flow: Materials crushed to less than 20mm by a crusher are lifted to a storage hopper by a bucket elevator, and then quantitatively fed into the main unit chamber for grinding by a variable frequency feeder.

Inside the main unit chamber, grinding rollers mounted on a turntable rotate around a central axis. A large clearance exists between the grinding rollers and the shaft pins. Under centrifugal force, the grinding rollers swing horizontally outward, pressing against the grinding ring. Simultaneously, the grinding rollers rotate around their own shaft pins. The material passes through the gap between the grinding rollers and the grinding ring, achieving crushing and grinding due to the rolling action of the rollers.

The grinding rollers have a four-layer structure. The material sequentially passes through the first, second, third, and fourth layers for four stages of crushing and grinding, thus achieving thorough crushing and grinding. The ground powder falls to the chassis under gravity, then is blown by the blower’s airflow to the classifier above the main unit for grading. Material that does not meet the required fineness is returned to the main unit’s grinding chamber for further grinding. Material reaching the target fineness enters the pulse dust collector under the influence of airflow, is collected, and discharged through the discharge valve as the finished product. The purified airflow flows back into the blower through the exhaust duct above the pulse dust collector.

The airflow in the system is circulated. Except for the positive pressure airflow from the blower to the grinding chamber, the airflow in the other pipelines flows under negative pressure, thus maximizing indoor air cleanliness.

Because a small amount of moisture in the material evaporates into gas during the grinding process,

and gas enters the circulation system from pipe flange connections and feed inlets, the circulating airflow increases. This increased airflow is discharged into the atmosphere through the air box interface between the blower and the main unit.
