Ball Mill Grinding Station In Eqypt

A grinding station is a cement production unit that separates the final product stage of cement production. The basic concept of grinding is to use external force to overcome the cohesive forces between solid material molecules, causing them to break down and reducing the particle size. The main task of cement clinker grinding is to provide a finished product with a specific particle size distribution. The dispersion of cement can be expressed by fineness and specific surface area. Under the same mineral composition conditions, the higher the dispersion, the finer the cement is ground, the faster the hydration rate, and the higher the strength, especially the early strength. However, when the specific surface area exceeds a certain limit, the strength increase is not significant, and power consumption increases sharply. Grinding methods are mainly divided into closed-circuit grinding systems and open-circuit grinding systems. In a closed-circuit grinding system, the qualified cement exiting the mill is classified by a classifier and stored as finished product, while unqualified cement is returned to the mill for further grinding. In an open-circuit grinding system, the material exiting the mill is the finished product. The advantages of closed-circuit grinding are that it can eliminate over-grinding, and the material exiting the mill can dissipate some heat when passing through the conveying and classifying equipment. The coarse powder can be returned to the mill for regrinding to reduce the temperature inside the mill. Therefore, the grinding efficiency is high and the output is high, generally increasing the output by 15-25%. The disadvantages are that the process is complex, there are many pieces of equipment, the operation and management technology requirements are high, and the infrastructure investment is large.
